Report Copyright Infringement

Our platform hosts course material written by our instructors, and work uploaded by students. If something published here reproduces your copyrighted work without permission, tell us and we will look into it. For misuse of the MIRE name or logo, see our Trademark Notice instead.

So we can act quickly, please give us:

• The exact web address of the material on our site.
• A description of the work you own, and where the original can be seen.
• Enough detail to show you own the copyright, or are authorised to act for the owner.
• Your name, postal address, email address and phone number.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, their agent, or the law — and that the information you have given is accurate.

Email your notice to the address at the bottom of this page with "Copyright" in the subject line, or post it to the institute. We acknowledge every report we receive; if you have not heard from us within five working days, please follow up by phone.

We review each notice on its merits. Where a complaint appears well-founded we remove or restrict access to the material while we investigate, and we notify whoever uploaded it. Repeated infringement by a student or instructor is grounds for suspension of their account under our terms.

If we took down something of yours and you believe that was a mistake — because you hold the rights, have a licence, or the use is permitted by law — write to us with the material's location, why you are entitled to publish it, and your contact details. We will review it and restore the material if your explanation holds.

Filing a knowingly false claim wastes the time of everyone involved and can expose you to liability. Please make sure you genuinely hold the rights, or are authorised to act for whoever does, before sending a notice.
